The Raleigh City Museum collects, preserves and interprets artifacts and materials pertaining to Raleigh's history and traditions so people understand and appreciate today's city through a knowledge of its past. The museum is a private, non-profit enterprise located on the first floor of the historic Briggs Building on Fayetteville Street Mall in downtown Raleigh.
