is a dynamic organization made up of 4,800 business
people throughout the region. The Chamber
has been representing
the interests of the local business community for over a century. The mission
of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is to sustain and further develop
a thriving economy and to enhance our community’s quality of life.

Wake
County Public Library System
The Wake County Public Library System consists
of five regional libraries and eleven community
branch libraries. It operates a genealogy & history
library, an Electronic Information Center library, and a bookmobile. The
Library System's mission is to promote the love of reading and to foster the
pursuit of knowledge for the residents of Wake County. Staff is available
to assist the public in locating materials, conducting programs focused on
reading and learning, answering specific reference questions and referring
patrons to books and resources within our collection.
Parks & Recreation
Wake
County offers a number of exciting recreational opportunities
through our network of parks. Whether you're
interested in taking a hike in the woods, learning
about native birds, looking for the perfect family
picnic spot, would like to travel back in time
